Tradeshow Spotlight: WEFTEC and the International Pool Spa Patio ExpoOnce
again, Autumn is upon us and it is traveling time for those participating
in trade shows! A couple of trade shows that are of interest to us here at
Mars International are WEFTEC® and the International Pool Spa Patio Expo,
both of which we will be exhibiting at as part of our ongoing efforts to
stay current with the market and technology trends related to our
customers’ interests. It is part of our outreach programs that keep us
connected with our customers and allows us to reach out to those who may
benefit from our products and services.
The first expo is WEFTEC®, the world’s largest annual water quality
technical conference. This important conference will be held from
September 29th through October 3rd, with the exhibition taking place
October 1-3, 2018. This year, WEFTEC® 2018 is being held at the Morial
Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. WEFTEC® show hours are 8:30
am until 5:00 pm daily. New Orleans is a popular city for conventions
because of its historic sightseeing options and entertainment and dining
choices. Visitors will certainly want to visit the city’s historic French
Market and Bourbon Street areas. Last year, WEFTEC® Chicago was held in
the Windy City.
WEFTEC® is organized by the non-profit Water Environment Federation (WEF).
WEFTEC® 2018 is the 91st annual such technical exhibition and conference.
WEFTEC® continues to grow in international scope, attracting an increasing
number of visitors and exhibitors across the globe. This year’s event is
expected to draw over 1,000 exhibitors from around the world. Those
attending will have the ability to take advantage of a variety of
workshops, technical sessions, earn continuing education credits and
expand their business network, all while developing professionally.

The second is the International Pool, Spa, Patio Expo to be held in Las
Vegas on October 31st thru November 2nd. This event is being held at
Mandalay Bay in Halls D-F. The event is expected to draw over 10,000
buyers and attendees from across the United States and the world. The PSP
Expo provides a unique opportunity to exchange product knowledge,
processes and best practices. Perhaps most of all, the Expo is where the
industry collaborates and builds impactful relationships.
